Age, cut-off dates & fees / आयु, पात्रता तिथियाँ और शुल्क

Age reference date: 1 June 2026. The notice says candidates must have attained 18 years but not attained 27 years. Its date-of-birth table specifies 2 June 1999 to 1 June 2008, before applicable relaxation. SC/ST: 5 years; OBC: 3 years; PwBD with UR/EWS: 10 years, SC/ST: 15 years, OBC: 13 years. Category eligibility and post-specific disability suitability still apply. Government employees should not assume a separate relaxation: the notice specifically discusses this restriction. Ex-servicemen have separate service-based conditions in paragraph 8.

Fee: ₹100. Women, SC, ST, PwBD and eligible ex-servicemen are exempt. Ex-servicemen already re-employed in a regular civil post using the reservation benefit are excluded from the stated fee concession. Reservation caution: OBC (Delhi) eligibility and certificate conditions are specific; an outside-Delhi OBC certificate does not automatically qualify. Marking: 1 mark per MCQ and a deduction of 0.25 for each wrong answer. The notification lists minimum qualifying marks of 50% for UR/EWS and 45% for OBC (Delhi)/SC/ST/PwBD/ESM for Tier-I MCQ and Tier-II descriptive, as applicable. For SPA/PA, the English descriptive paper contains essay, grammar and translation; JJA has its own longer descriptive paper. How to apply / आवेदन कैसे करें

1. Read the advertisement and choose the post code matching your qualification and skill. / अपनी योग्यता के अनुसार पद कोड चुनें।
2. Register once on DSSSB OARS if you are not already registered. Use your existing account if you have one; do not create duplicate registrations. / पहले से पंजीकृत हैं तो उसी खाते का उपयोग करें।
3. Check your name, date of birth, category, qualifications and experience against the accepted supporting documents. Check the upload formats and sizes on the official portal; do not assume a size from another recruitment applies.
4. Prepare the photograph/signature and applicable qualification, category, disability, driving-licence and experience documents. This is a preparation checklist; the portal and notice determine the exact documents and upload stage.
5. Complete the post-specific form and pay through the prescribed method if a fee is due. Preview every field before final submission. The notice says post-submission correction requests will not be entertained; do not rely on an unannounced correction window.
6. Save the final submitted application, registration/application reference and fee acknowledgement where applicable. Confirm submission status on the portal and keep checking official notices for the next stage.

Common questions / सामान्य प्रश्न

क्या सभी 641 पदों के लिए स्नातक होना ज़रूरी है?

No. SPA, PA and JJA require graduation with the specified skills. Peon and Process Server have their own matriculation/equivalent requirements; Process Server also has the stated driving-related conditions. Eligibility must be checked post by post.

क्या Peon के लिए typing test है?

The notified scheme for post code 808/26 has an objective test and interview. Do not apply the separate JJA or PA typing requirements to Peon.

क्या 50% marks मिलने पर selection पक्का है?

No. Minimum qualifying marks only establish a threshold for consideration. Shortlisting, later stages, document eligibility, category and final merit determine selection.

क्या website पर “application open” दिखना eligibility का प्रमाण है?

No. It describes the notified application window. It does not confirm that an individual qualifies or that the official portal has no interruption. Check the current notification and any corrigendum before applying.
